Is it also possible to level down? If yes, for what cases? Thank you very much. I just want to know.. :D

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Comments

yes its possible....don't run brilliant for consecutive two weeks and in the other week that is the third week attempt the questions and if you'll do one wrong question before you do 3 correct questions in each section then you'll be demoted to the lower level.... (this happened with me) or else mail Calvin sir or Peter sir they'll demote you as per your choice :)

As a clarification of why Riya was demoted, we run our calculations based on the previous 2 weeks that you were active. If you had several questions wrong in the previous active week (say 2 wrong), and then get another question wrong, this indicates to us that the questions are too hard for you and so we'd lower your level accordingly. If you get just 1 more correct, then based on a ratio of 1 correct out of 4 questions answered, we will still lower your level.
