2 point objects start from the same point simultaneously. One moves with a constant velocity 'u' throughout and the other starts from rest with constant acceleration 'a'. Find the time at which the separation between the two is maximum and find the maximum separation between them too...

Um... that will strictly depend on the vector of acceleration and velocity and the time duration... If they go in opposite directions indefinitely, there is no maximum distance. But if you're looking for a general expression for the distance of separation between the two objects, then... well it may have a solution but I dunno ;)
