Mechanics and EM

Hi brilliant problem solvers, recent it has come to my mind that pretty awesome mechanics problems that were hosted by Anish and other great physics problem creators dropped rating, What is the problem , is it a bug? This question is not related to what I said but how are some people so good at mechanics because it takes me 2hrs probably to solve a level 4 to level 5 problem in mechanics. What resources do you use in studying for physics, my schools physics curriculum is the worst I use online resources but since I don't have that much of a knowledge in calculus so I am not proficient in mechanics. Please re share until great physics problem solvers reach this.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

I think the rating system is automated, if the problem is solved by many, the ratings will drop plus i think the ratings of anishs problems are pretty fair, if not above. Why don't you take an AP Class or something, aren't they supposed to be advanced.

Yeah they are, but you have to be 11-12 grade in order to take them @Beakal Tiliksew

Hey! You said you use HC Verma right? You must be pretty good then ...and you're a level four dude ...so keep it up ( though I may not be that good to advise you)

@Krishna Ar I am not that good I don't have the experience of how to solve some problem.I started learning physics last year. But the book HC Verma is very helpful
