I have recently been solving some problems on polynomials an arbitrary example of which is
If p(x)= x^3+px^2+qx +10 has the roots a,b and c then what is the value of p+q?
Note-This is an arbitrary example and not a real question.
So, I have been facing problems in such questions and need your help.
How do I approach such questions? Any brilliant wiki or a website or a book for reference? Thank you in advance.
