Needed help in java

I am interested to learn how to use netbeans to sole some of the maths problems. I do not know c++. But I know the basics of java i.e. creating a calculator, finding maximum or minimum of given set of numbers, etc. But I don't know the commands to solve high level problems, i.e. levels>3. I am very much interested to learn java. Please do held me.

This book will certainly help you a lot if you want to learn Java - Java: The Complete Referance by Herbert Schildt.
