And don't you all think that the answers of the comprehension on Newton's law of cooling wrong..in the official answer key?

I am from Delhi getting about 141 in NSEP and 140 in NSEC acc. to the ALLEN upload(which I don't completely trust). How about everyone else? When is the official answer key out usually? Will I qualify for INChO and INPhO?

Class 12, but I didn't have time for preparation. SO it was like I moved into the test hall without much expecting. Anyway, I found some questions in NSEC to be ambiguous. I don't think my score would make me eligible to write the INOs

@Tarun Yadav – Pretty hectic because I was busy with my college applications and could find only a little time. And besides this, I had a blunder with marking the responses in NSEP. Would have got 168 if I had done it correctly!

also every coaching institute is giving different answers for More than one correct answers in nsep . what do you think about that?

I hate the idea of coaching institutes, but okay here, I think the answer key uploaded by ALLEN has correct solutions for More than One Correct type. The Resonance keys are always absurd. Any other coaching institutes.

i am in class 11 . NSEP- 80-90 NSEC- 100-110 NSEA- 175-180

Also it was nightmare for class 11 students because about 45 questions in nsec were from 12th standard syllabus also in nsec about 60% questions were from 12th . so 12th standard students would have done well in it .

I am in 10th. According to Allen answer key I am getting 94 in NSEP.

That is a good score in class 10th, I got around a 100 when wrote it for the first time in 2012! Pretty cool! Have you taken the NSEA and NSEJS too?

You are most probably getting through in all three if you are from Delhi. But didn't you find any problems with the answer key?

well.I'm from Rajasthan.And I think I would clear only nsea as my batch mates are getting 180-190 in both nsep and nsec.

@Rahul Agrawal – Oh! Actually I have got a medal in IESO and went to IChOTC but I don't think they get consider that, do they? I mean you would have gotten to IISc with a good KVPY rank. For others they take an admission test! But your score says you will do it. My NSEs went badly because of the confusion this time. Those paper codes and then that experimental shizz I had not prepared for, drowned me.

@Rahul Agrawal – How much did you scored in kvpy last year and what rank did u got? . i am scoring about 74 in aptitude test in kvpy (sa stream) . what marks are required in interview to enter top 100 ?

@Prakhar Bindal – Stay optimistic! Nothing can be said about the ranks as I know a person who is getting 92 in the test. So there may be more such people. Since the paper has been easier this time, focus on the interview as you will surely qualify within the top 100 now. There are people who give amazing interviews and drift their standings. The interview is nothing like a normal interview. Instead of asking about your activity and interests, your bent on science they ask regular subject questions. It is weird and I was shocked at this because I entered and those guys started asking me electro-chemistry and rotational dynamics. One of them asked me about something related to astronomy and though I answered it correctly and knew he was incorrect, I was marked absent because I argued!

@Rahul Agrawal – Try studying hard for their entrance or rather focus on JEE. You will get in! I anyway don't have any plans to continue in India. I'll be going to US next year.

@Prakhar Bindal – I had a 68 in the aptitude test. But I think your score was the like in the highest 10 last year. 16-20/25 is a very good score, but I guess the aptitude test this time was pretty easy. SO, it is hard to say anything.

I Think official answer keys are more correct because they are leading to an increase of 20 marks in my score! :P (NSEP)
