This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

what would be the expected cut off in W.B. and Bihar @Adarsh Kumar and its a request to all you guys that if we could create a note consisting of good questions(Maths,Chemistry and Physics) from all the states as it could be very beneficial.
That must be good enough . i qualified last year from up with a score of 127/140(last year it was out of 140) and cutoff was 111 . so according to that 111/140 * 150 = 119 . so cutoff should be about 120 for up state. and congratz for getting a nice score!
@Adarsh Kumar

yeah it is reliable (they predict correct cutoff just with an error of + or - 5% max . but most reliable is nilesh sir's blog! . he predicts the cutoff too well . (on the day of exam of ntse stage 2 he predicted that cutoff would be 80/150 and it went to 77.2!

I guess it must be for this year only

Why do we write the LCT if if it is not included in the total score?Everybody here talks about score/150.
Log in to reply
It is necessary to score 20% marks in LCT otherwise your other two papers will not be checked!
