Old vs New home page

Hello,

I'd like to discuss the new Brilliant home page, which is, in my opinion, not really better than the previous one. I think the previous page was less organized, even though I don't quite remember...However, this is only a tiny issue compared to The thing I dislike about the new page:

I just came back on Brilliant after 4 months to see that the problems posts now come with the avatars of the people who have posted them ; selfies, crazy and weird pictures, all sort of things lol. I understand that many of you might enjoy this new feature, but personally, I think that reading a math problem with the picture of a guy in parachute right next to it is extremely distracting and counter-intuitive.

Is there a way to disable this feature for my account? or make the avatars look smaller? What do you think about the new feature?

Easy Math Editor

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
