Physics:: Content on Brilliant

My love My love

Hey Brilliant's ,
How's you guy's ?

Here I want to raise an serious issue Related to Physics Section on Brilliant , I see Recently Physics content on brilliant is too Low , There are very less Good Quality Problems on Classical Mechanics and Electricity and magnetism.

Since we don't have any Physics King yet Like previously we had THE " David Sir" . I understand that staff is working on it ... But still I think it is long time we don't have a Sir Like David Sir .... In my views it is serious issue !

I see Many physics Problem writers Like as @Jatin Yadav , @Anish Purathaya , @Milun moghe @Josh silverman etc etc..., are not active so much . So This also lowers Physics content on brilliant .

Secondly I see that from 15-20 days some more Physics problem writers like as , @Deepanshu gupta , @Ronak agarwal , @Mvs saketh etc.... doesn't post anything ... I see Deepanshu has left brilliant , And Ronak also busy in his preparations ..!

But Here I want to request to all of you Brilliant(s) Staff and Member(s) of this family that Please Post more Quality Level Physics Problem ! So that Physics is promoted on brilliant .

I'am Highly depends on Brilliant , It is most important Source for me , Even I preferred Brilliant more than a JeeTextbook . So Please It is request to staff members please take it seriously ..!

Thanks !

Karan

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

i shall start after jee advanced surely, presently i have so much to learn for JEE advanced, last year there were some good inorganic chemistry problems, some facts were not even there in study material as well, and hence i must spend some time on it you see, when i shall feel sufficiently confident regarding JEE advanced in all subjects, i might start being active,

But, yes surely after JEE advanced

Yes I understand .. But okay when you got time .. then Please continue posting problems . Community will definitely appreciate.!

Hey @Karan , I've noticed what you're talking about and have been making/collecting my favorite problems that haven't appeared on Brilliant as yet, and I'll be posting them regularly going forward. For instance, here are the first

I've also been working on new kinds of physics wikis where I find a problem in the recent research literature that can be solved using topics on the current wiki system, and explain how the problem was tackled.

I'd also like to stimulate discussion around interesting problems posed by the community. Here are a few that I think can use some attention:

Also, please let me know if there are topics you'd like to see problem or wiki-wise that aren't being covered. I'd love to write more material that people are demanding.

Thank you for replying sir ! It will be very great if you will Post more and more problems and notes like you do always. And Sir Your wikis are awesome ... I always love to read them and they all are quite helpful . I love if there will be wikis related to thermodynamics , Specially about Entropy . It is most fascinating and I have keen interest in thermodyanamics ... Though I'm not so strong in it , but still wanted to learn more and more about it.!

Sorry Sir But Links are not working ..!

You are in luck. Entropy/thermodynamics/statistical mechanics are some of my favorite topics in physics and I have many things planned in that area. If there is anything in particular you'd like to see, or something that especially confuses you, reply and I can address it in the wikis.

Links should be working now.

@Josh Silverman Thanks sir ! But Actually Sir I'am very beginner at Statistical mechanics/Entropy , I have just passed my High schools ,And Since according to our High school course , It dosn't have any detailed content related to Thermodynamics , Although Chemistry have some more content of it than physics , And you know most of all chemistry teachers didn't taught concept in detailed qualitatively , So I'am not so much familiar with much topics , But I would Like if you will post anything related to it at beginning level So that we all brilliant(s) can learn from it .

Creating good problems is a difficult task. I will try to post question which I found interesting from various other resources. :)

satvik pandey - 6 years, 2 months ago

Ok that's alright...i will post a good problem on physics per day which will be of good level.

sarvesh dubey - 6 years, 2 months ago

The problem is that David's university has given him too many PhD students to deal with which keeps him too busy for brilliant.

Agnishom Chattopadhyay - 6 years, 2 months ago

Have you tried this set??

Harshvardhan Mehta - 6 years, 2 months ago

Yes , These are good collection of all posted Problems , I have tried lot of them , Some are solved by me and rest I Learn from others solution !
