Pi and Pie do sound alike, but did you know that if you hold a mirror up to the most significant digits of π (3.14), it actually spells PIE! * You need Pi to determine the size of your Pie… Area=πr2 (‘r’ is the radius or distance from center to the edge of the pie)

Inextricably linked by name* and geometry**, Pi and Pie go hand in hand. So, in honor of National Pi (π) Day – 3/14 – we geeked out and baked a trio of Transcendental Hand Pies. Using Trader Joe’s pre-made-from-scratch (using real butter) Frozen Pie Crusts as our constant, crafting these circular, palm-able pastries is as easy as… oh… pie."

Technically still -1 since pi is an odd number (by its whole number).
