This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Remember my dear, failure is also one step towards becoming the master of something. A master has failed so many times that a beginner has not even tried. So if you fail at something that is sign that you're trying to become the master which a great thing. So overcome the situation and try once more, start once again. And the coolest point is that you will meet the awesome guys here on Brilliant (you can meet and talk to them directly on Brilliant-Lounge), which will step forward to help you do great in Maths.

And remember that the more you bleed during practice, the less you bleed in the field. The same is the case with Maths. The more you learn through practice, the less nervous you will be in the exam. And you can practice a lot on Brilliant that will ultimately make you excellent in Maths.

Everytime you feel underconfident, head up and direct your mind to try just one more time! And practice is the key.
