This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

I can't understand how you people so easily get into level 5 in NT and GAC. I am unable to solve one problem each week in NT, however hard I try. It's annoying me really.Getting on my nerves. Any suggestions ?
I have done 17, still unsolved 2 from Algebra, on one of them I have miscalcualtions or misunderstading, while the other is quite hard to approach for me
situation changed, I have now done 17 problems, actually I had read a question in a wrong manner, still one question left to solve in each section, (geometry, physics and algebra)

hmmm i didnt got that one i was working on the Find the sum of all primes q<1000 such that for some prime p<q, both q divides p^3−1 and p divides q^3−1.of 300 pts ultimately did it . can u kindly post the other sum that u r working on i would try to do it ( but dont know if i can do it or not )

What do you mean? You think that only you've got mind? Solving questions that are of higher level than age doesn't conclude to cheating.

This week.. I have solved 18 Questions out of 20 ..... I lost 2 Questions in Geometry ... their cost = 230+180 = 410 ...
If I have answered those Questions I would have got 410 points more....
I have done 17, still unsolved 2 from Algebra, on one of them I have miscalcualtions or misunderstading, while the other is quite hard to approach for me

same case here, the left nt problem is too hard to approach for me
Log in to reply
well situation changed, found miscalculation and found a way to approach another problem, so now it is 19

situation changed, I have now done 17 problems, actually I had read a question in a wrong manner, still one question left to solve in each section, (geometry, physics and algebra)
Situation changed (once more), solved all the physics questions, total 18 solved.
i couldnt do any problem :ppppp
