As this "Sprint" set is a new concept, I would greatly appreciate any feedback that you had.
Questions to consider:
1) Did you enjoy the experience?
2) Were you around for the entire 2 weeks? Is that time period too long, just right, or too short?
3) Is the difficulty of the problems too hard, just right, or too easy?
4) How much time did you spend? Were there too many things to do, or not enough things to do?
5) What did you like best?
6) What would you like to see improved?
7) Did you like that the discussions were locked for a few days?
Please note that this set is intended for those who are Levels 2-3 in Algebra.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

I enjoyed the experience and the time period is just right. The difficulty of the problems is very strange, they resist first attack but after a few days I can find very weird elementary solutions. There were just enough things to do and I liked that discussions were locked for a few days.
Since the book is available online for free as a PDF (which I downloaded 24 hours ago), maybe you could edit your post to include the link: (http://f3.tiera.ru/2/MMathematics/MSchSchool-level/Engel%20A.%20Problem-solving%20strategies%20(for%20math%20olympiads)(Springer,%201998)(ISBN%200387982191)(O)(415s)MSch.pdf) so that everyone can have it for free.
There are two "4)"'s in the post above,

yeah i agree
Huh. It shows up for free when you google "arthur engel problem solving strategies"...
I feel already that this course shouldn't take 2 weeks, but that's just me. Maybe you can do some sort of online interactive system like the practice map. You can go at your own rate (if it's too slow or too fast). This actually might replace the Practice Map.

Agreed, time period could be shortened to 1 week.

I sincerely think one week or at maximum 10 days should be enough for each topic. This also means that the remaining days( from 4 to 7 ) can be used for working from another chapter of the book.
Thank you. I'm mainly interested in feedback from Levels 2-3, who may not have seen most of the material presented here.
As you have not seen the entire course, it would be premature to say that 2 weeks is too long.
The practice map provides a much more structured approach to working through these skills. I would like this to be "time sensitive", where it's exciting that others are also exploring similar topics / questions as you are.

Wait, so the assigned stuff isn't all for Polynomial?
