Postulates of Schrödinger's Equation

I was told by a Professor that the Postulates are obvious in QM. However Erwin Schrödinger's equation and the experiments were done on the basis of assumption. The equation is not valid (hasn't been proved as a valid equation as yet) $\hbar(\omega\psi)=\frac{\hbar^2}{2m}(k^2\psi)+v(x)\psi\implies i\hbar\frac{\partial\psi}{\partial t}=\frac{-\hbar^2}{2m}\cdot\frac {\partial t}{\partial x^2}+v\psi$

Theory of Schrödinger's equation is consistent with the real world, which unifies the relation between QM with SR.
