Preparing Juniors for future

Everybody knows that in today's world competiton in academics has got a lot tougher.Students (primary,middle and high school) also give various olympiads,exams and tests to know their ability,misconceptions and other errors.As in Brilliant not only me but everybody knows that topics such as Mechanics,Calculus,Number Theory,Combinatorics etc get a lot tougher for higher levels(level3,level4,level5).Many users on Brilliant who are at school level are not able to solve these problems.what kind of preparation would you recommend for the school levels form clases 7 to 12 so that are able to solve these problems and understand the basic concepts properly ? (I mean any kind of books,resources,sites to help improve our concepts better.)

Hi Banfig,

I'll see if I can link you to some other old advice on Brilliant regarding what approaches people on Brilliant take to improve at topics that they almost never receive formal instruction in.

This discussion about what classes people take and what they do outside of them is probably relevant to you.

For historic book recommendations, I would go to the search bar and search notes for "books" and see what other people have recommended.

In my opinion, additional resources such as books and websites are pretty useless unless you have the desire to actually use them. The most valuable part of my education growing up was not that I had great text-books and solid syllabi, but that I had friends and parents that helped me make them worth reading.
