Recent changes in Brilliant

There are a few changes in the past day or so in the Brilliant from which some of them are clearly visible:

----> A huge jump in the total points scored. And can anyone plz explain me on which factors does the new points system depends on i.e. on maybe number of followers, number of solutions etc....

----> There is no rating ( only level is visible ) in each of the different sections. Overall, there is a large change in the window that appears when we open a new section window.

Please share other changes in the comments section.
