Recommendation for a Brilliant-level book.

My Brilliant.org levels are very poor (as one can see after visiting my profile!) — so can anybody recommend me an/some Olympiad mathematics books? I specifically need some for Geometry and Combinatorics since I am just level 2 which is not good.

I'd really appreciate it if they help someway in solving Brilliant.org problems. The best resource, I understand, is my thinking. So I'd love it if I get my thinking on the right track.

Addition: The books must be quick reads and interesting... to the point like Brilliant.org blogs :-)

First of all, there is no such thing as a bad level on Brilliant.org. Your levels are not "poor," they simply "are." Your participation is a mark of passion and motivation which no one on this site or outside of it could reproach. Our intention is for our lower level problems to be no less interesting or worthwhile than the higher level ones, merely to require less experience, or sophistication than the upper level problems. Both of those things come with time and practice. Do not worry about not being at high levels across the board, if you concentrate on enjoying where you are at improvement will come naturally. Keep in mind that our level 1 and 2 problem sets in the Olympiad level math category are actually harder than many or most highschool homework sets, so in the scheme of things beyond Brilliant you are distinguished just by showing up. Furthermore, your levels are pretty high and there are thousands of people older than you on this site with far lower levels.

That said, there are likely many people on here with excellent practical suggestions, anecdotes, and book recommendations, so please everyone feel free to offer them. Parth, I also suggest using the search tool in the side bar and searching "books" Geometry and Combinatorics" etc.. for old book suggestions.

Thank you, Peter. You might be correct; I am not sure. But to point out my math, it really is a disaster. May I please have some material on algebra and number theory problems like the ones hosted on your sites... nothing like proofs (or a very little)? I am looking for something like Brilliant.org blog, but much more. Do you plan to write a little book for us? I like the blog posts.

There is a book "Higher Algebra" by Hall & Knight, which will make you perfect in Algebra and Number Theory. Please follow me for some cool questions on them.
