Please excuse if this is a repost. I am looking for books (not textbooks) related to math or physics for pleasure reading.
Some personal favorites I can recommend are: 1) The Golden Ratio: The Story of Phi, the World's Most Astonishing Number by Mario Livio. 2)The Calculus of Friendship: What a Teacher and a Student Learned about Life while Corresponding about Math by Steven Stogatz 3) The Edge of Physics: A Journey to Earth's Extremes to Unlock the Secrets of the Universe by Anil Ananthaswamy
Cheers

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

I found "Fermat's Last Theorem" by Simon Singh a good read as well.
Richard Feynman lectures on physics

'Gamma' by Julian Havil is excellent.
How to teach Relativity to your dog by Chad Orzel. Very engaging and with occasional jokes. Also a very interesting introduction to Relativity for readers of any level (minimal Math involved).
Alice in quantumland. An allegory of quantum physics by Robert Gilmore
Thanks for the feedback.
My personal favorites are - The Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav ,and Edge of reason by Anil Ananthaswamy. Hope you like them!
