Regarding adding solutions

I just answered a question in Algebra and I wanted to write my solution for that. But it doesn't allow me to write once I've seen discussion board. Is this expected? Or is there any possible way for me to add my solution to that question even at this stage? Kindly let me know this. Thanks in advance.

Comments

It is expected; once you see the discussion board you might get additional ideas on how to write your solution, and for some reason it's discouraged by Brilliant.org. There is no way to add your solution after you have viewed the discussion board. You can write your solution as a comment to another solution, but that abuses the comment feature and your solution is not counted in the statistics if you're aiming for that.
