This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Regarding this question: here

I don't see why we can't have a remainder of $2$ . This is achieved when we have a $2 \times 2 \times 2$ box, or $8$ Glamburgers. Everyone gets $2$ with $2$ remaining.

Either the answer is wrong, or the question is poorly worded, but both would warrant a report.

i assume you prefer that we report here, so the answers to the questions stay clean?
i can delete my comment to question there if you like.

i love the idea to have a separate report section, but ppl can check this link and get hints for the solution without posting an answer. (tbh i did this. otherwise i would have answered 2 too)

3 hrs response time? i'm old, so i might be able to do that too, but even i sleep sometimes ;-)

@Num Ic – Not only for the answers to stay clean, so that you can actually solve the question. If you lose your three tries at the question, you get it wrong. Then only you can either comment or report.

By reporting here, you can avoid losing your chance to answer the question. After I correct the problem, you can solve the problem clearly
