Results of MVOW.

It's been a week and its quite hard to believe MVOW came to an end :D. There were entries on almost all the days which made it fun for both the Brilliant Members and Me. I hope it would've been equally fun for the *"Poets" *too :D

Results:

\bullet-Winner- Nanayaranaraknas Vahdam (I hope I've spelt your name right! :P )-Great work :)

\bullet-Runner up- Charlton Teo. You were so close!!!.... (Amazing piece of work , I must say. It was also my personal favorite)

\bullet- Second Runner up- Utkarsh Dwivedi (Wonderful poem)

A Special mention to Palash Som- whose work was quite good too.

Congrats to all the participants and winners. A special appreciation for the original verses. I've tagged all of you below.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

I am also not being able to tag him. I think there is a problem.

@UTKARSH DWIVEDI (tagged as requested)

@Krishna Ar @Anuj Shikarkhane If you want to tag someone, it helps if you add them first. Our system tries to make a best guess, given the name and the "relationship" to you / the item.

Thank you. I believe by "adding" , you'd indicated "following"...Right?

Krishna Ar - 6 years, 7 months ago

I think we couldn't tag him cuz his tag used capital letters, while we tried small...
