RIP the Community page of Brilliant..thanks for everything. It's nice how they're giving everyone Premium access until the end of 2021 to make up for it. Feel free to chat here to share your thoughts on this everyone. Despite this, it's a shame it's going away as the community is what made Brilliant how it is with everyone sharing their own problems and solutions to everything, with this gone, it'll remove the Community aspect of Brilliant.
RIP Community: 2004 - 2021: 17 Years of the community working together on problems. (F to pay respect) PS. Oh yeah also moving to AoPS. my user will be benj1021. UPDATE:
The Notes / Discussion button is gone.UPDATE 2: You can no longer comment. Bruh.
Easy Math Editor
This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

My email says Premium until the end of 2022? And yes it is really sad without the Community page, but I personally liked the courses a lot and now with premium I can access everything. For now we just have the hope that they will likely relaunch some community elements in some way.

Mine said throughout to the end of 2021...

Interesting! Maybe it depends on the amount of community posts?

Brilliant will always be my home, where I grew up learning physics, maths, and programming. #Respect for Mark Hennings, Steven Chase, Karan Chatrath, Pi Han Goh, Chew-Seong Cheong, Jeff Giff, and many others

@Krishna Karthik Hello Bro but why they are giving premium for free?
@Talulah Riley To compensate disgruntled members, I expect.

@Krishna Karthik If I will take someone's heart for his body and give him 1 Million dollar.
Will it be okay ???????

@Krishna Karthik But I always love the.problem posted by Steven Chase and Karan.Chatrath and thier solutions.
I used to visit , Brilliant website 4-5 times daily.
But now I will visit hardly once In a month.
So Brilliant will lose his many users .
I don't think Brilliant will get benefit.
In my opinion Brilliant should take charges for community.
Like for example. 10 US dollar per month .
We people can easily pay that ,and enjoy community section. It is also a good idea. Share your views about it.

@Krishna Karthik Bro I can easily give 20 US dollar per month to Brilliant for subscription for a community.
If there are 500 users who are enjoying community .
So Brilliant can make 10K US dollar per month easily

Brilliant did this so their customers could focus on their courses rather than using community features and treating it as a maths/science forum rather than an educational website.

@Krishna Karthik Your Business will not decide the choice of customers.
The choice of customers will decide your business.
I don't know why brilliant want its users to learn maths and science.
If Brilliant makes the website as a best problems website in the world .
Within 3-4 years around 50,000 uses will definitely come to upload problems and to enjoy community.
If they all pay 20US dollar per month ,then Brilliant can earn 1 M dollar per month easily. which is more than premium content.
Isn't it a good idea.

If you make it more like 1 dollar per person, per month, it'll be something like an additional 600K a year.
It'll be like "unlocking" the community, 1 dollar a month. And I think in all honesty, with people like Karan Chatrath and Steven helping others, the community is already better than Brilliant's courses, despite the fact that their courses are good.
Sadly, business decisions won't fit right with all stakeholders. Businesses like to shoot themselves in the foot.

@Krishna Karthik I can easily pay 240 dollar for a year but will not pay a single penny for thier courses.

@Krishna Karthiki I will create my own website after jee exams But how I will inform you that I have created?
It will only dedicated for community problems and discussions.
@Krishna Karthik Bro Try to understand if a guy pays 20$ in one month.and.for next moth suppose he doesn't need community.
But a.second guys needs that community so second guy will pay the money.
It will be balanced .
@Krishna Karthik Brilliant can earn more from subscribing community than thier premium content.
@Talulah Riley
We should probably try to convince Brilliant to retain their community.
And I agree with you. Brilliant was once the great place where I learnt all my maths and science.
@Benjamin McCarthy I think it is from 2014.
By the way ,why they are giving premium for free?
It's cause they're discontinuing the community features: Community Problems, Discussions, etc.
Unfortunately they didn't give me premium

@Kano Boom I think they will give after 2 July 2021.
If Brilliant emailed you saying that they're compensating you due to the community section being gone soon, you need to find an email from them to activate the Premium. If not, F.
