I took this paper. I was sitting behind Sreejato, and I got only questions 1, 2, and 4 right. I hope I make the cutoff!

Isn't RMO a contest held in India? That's the impression that I had at least

edit: looking at the problems, I have to say problems 3 and 5 sure are tough.

@Michael Tong – Yes, RMO is specifically for Indians. And problem 5 is pretty easy if you can find the recursion.

That's what I got! The problems weren't very hard, but the time limit (3 hours) put pressure on me. Apparently I solved the first four problems, but I won't get full credit for the third one, as I couldn't complete it (lack of time! >:( ). I had the fifth question on scratch, but didn't get the time to present it carefully. :'(

@Sreejato Bhattacharya – Solved the fifth one now, only 4 lines more and my solution would have been complete >.< time was really a factor and that I did not have practice in solution writing was really a major fault from my side

I am in class 9( goint to class 10 this year). I will be giving Pre RMO and hopefully RMO this year, can someone please give me some tips on how to prepare and what to prepare for both. Do suggest some books also please....
