"Once Heisenberg, Ohm and Schrodinger were going in a car.
They get pulled over. Heisenberg is driving and the cop asks him "Do you know how fast you were going?"
"No, but I know exactly where I am" Heisenberg replies.
The cop says "You were doing 55 in a 35." Heisenberg throws up his hands and shouts "Great! Now I'm lost!"
The cop thinks this is suspicious and orders him to pop open the trunk. He checks it out and says "Do you know you have a dead cat back here?"
"We do now, asshole!" shouts Schrodinger.
The cop moves to arrest them. Ohm resists.
Although Pauli could have been a part of this joke but he wishes to remain exclued :D"

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Years ago an Indian chief, name of Pythagoras, was faced with a dilemma. The numbers in his tribe were dwindling and he needed a solution. So a vision came to him after much reflection and a bit of peyote. He thought that the type of hide used would have an effect on the conception. So he set out to prove his theory. He paired a brave and a squaw to conceive on a deer hide. Then he paired a brave and a squaw to conceive on a elk hide. Lastly he paired a brave and a squaw to conceive on a hippopotamus hide.
Then 9 months later the squaw that conceived on the deer hide had one son, the squaw that conceived on the elk hide had one son but the squaw that conceived on the hippopotamus hide had two sons.
So Chief Pythagoras concluded that the sons of the squaw of the hippopotamus were equal to the sons of the squaws of the other two hides.
