Given a stream of water from a vertical pipe of half- width ,height and initial velocity ,landing on a solid surface,is it possible to solve for the shape of the surface of the water stream? Please post your answers, with working.
Truth be told, I have no idea how to approach this. I am just curious if this would work, and it may help my physics tournament,so I would not know if your answers and responses are incorrect. But we can discuss the solution over here!
