I am in level 5 in number theory but the questions I get on selecting the tag are of level 1or 2 only. Why ?

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Same here. I don't know if this is a bug or if it's intended but the "best of" accounts showing problems of all difficulty instead of "the best problems near" my "level". Resharing this.

To the staff: another problem: there's absolutely nothing on my Geometry and Mechanics feed. Does it have something to do with the new ''filters" you're testing?

EDIT: I'm not talking about the tags. It seems that the "best of x" feeds are showing everything they have shared and not only the problems near my level.

EDIT 2: Add Electricity and Magnetism to that list too. The feed is completely empty.

Thanks for bringing this up. It is a separate issue (i.e. not related to selecting of tags). This is not the intended behavior, and we will fix it.

Same here. My Geometry, Mechanics, E&M feeds are completely empty. Also computer science feed has only about three problems while there were several yesterday. I hope this problem is fixed fast!!

Thanks everyone. I believe that this has been fixed now. Let me know if this remains an issue for you.

When you select a tag, you get to see all problems that have been tagged with it.

This is the problem with me too. I am currently rated 1735 in number theory while in the Best of's feed I am being shown only problems of Level 1 and 2

Thanks Calvin Sir for fixing this.
