Solution Box

I don't know if it is only me, but the box in which I enter the solution is too small and hence I can only view a part of my solution(like 2 or 3 lines), while I write it. Is the size of the box adjustable? If the answer's yes, then how? If that is not the case, then can the brilliant staff kindly look into this situation. It'd be very pleasing to hear from the staff regarding this. Thank you.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Comments

Yeah, it's adjustable, you can drag the bottom right corner down :)

Thanks, I didn't somehow notice that. I am laughing.

I mean it would be nice if it was by default bigger, not just that tiny thing we have to readjust every time we preview/edit.

I'm okay with the fact that it's about 3 lines to begin with, but having to re-adjust is indeed quite annoying.

Yeah I'd like it to be bigger - when you Preview and exit the preview, the box returns to its original small size and you just have to stretch it again. (Also, when you choose "Formatting help", the Preview button stays visible but doesn't actually work - you have to close the Formatting help in order to Preview). Using Chrome 28.
