Some small Suggestions!!!

I just want to re-post a few things...

  1. Won't there be any practice section for Physics??? Physics problem sets and more Physics documents on Olympiad section would help beginners as well as advanced students...

  2. Why is there only 4 prizes in points exchange section??? Something more interesting can be added... If that's too much expensive for Brilliant, they can increase the amount of points needed to unlock that prize... But there should be more prizes and that will inspire students...

  3. Won't the geometry and computer science section be back??? And Brilliant should add problem sets related to geometry and computer science in practice section...

  4. Please post a document on modular arithmetic and modulo congruence in the Olympiad section... I know that there are many genius students and teachers in this site, but what about the beginners???

  5. When will we get in a math competition??? Fall competition was over at 2012, Hunger games was a computer science contest and the Brazil competition is open... But I guess we, who don't live in Brazil, can't compete in that... So, when will we be able to compete in an open math competition???

  6. There can be a notification bar... We need to go through email to get the notifications and new updates... But that can be in Brilliant... Something like that in Quora...

I would hope that Brilliant will take these under kind consideration and just let us know when will these be happening...

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.
