[Staff Post] Is anyone on Brilliant going to be at the Intel Science and Engineering Fair?
Sue Khim, fearless CEO and founder of Brilliant.org, will be speaking at the Intel Science and Engineering Fair tomorrow. If anyone on our site happens to be there, she would love to meet up and hang out with you.
This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

I suppose I shouldn't write anything since the answer is no... but I did go to state science fair (USA) and WILL DEFINITELY be at Intel sometime in the next four years. Will Brilliant have staff at Intel any other years?
Well, my teachers say I have great potential and making Intel is one of my goals. A great person once taught me the importance of setting goals, and one specific aspect is to write it with determination and using words like "will", not "if". Being doubtful of your goals is pointless and quantitatively lowers your chances of success. Additionally, I am in 8th grade right now and have 4 more years until high school ends.

My county had 3 people go to Intel, so there is obviously some talent in the area. I am confident in my abilities and training that my future teachers will give me.
It is likely that someone from Brilliant will be at the ISEF in future years. We encourage everyone on Brilliant to dare to dream that they can achieve their goals with the right work. Good luck to you. We hope to see you, and others on our site there someday.

I am curious to know why you are so sure about being at Intel in the next four years?
