I love little statistics about all sorts of things. I'm sure many visitors of this website (geeks, like me) do.
General stats I'd love a page on this site on which we can see how many people are in each of the levels, how they are distributed, how this is related to their ages or nationalities (genders?) and also how the stars in the practice section are distributed, etcetera.
Problem stats Some funny option to add would be that if I answer a problem wrongly, I would see how many people submitted the same wrong answer. And after I've finished the problem, stats about which different answers came up among the submissions would be cool to know. Also, maybe being able to see how long it took for the users to solve a problem?
Personal stats I'd like to see a graph of when I gained points, which levels I was at on what age, when I got certain stars, etcetera. That would be really cool. It would be like a personal timeline, on which users can add personal achievements, like participation to the IMO (or a medal, even better).

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Hey Tim,
Great post. We are very interested in expanding the stats, about yourself, others, and the website that everybody could browse. Those are all really good ideas, and we will take them into account. If you or anyone else thinks of any other metrics that would be fun and useful, let us know.

sir pls look into my matter
I agree with everything, except the one in point 2 about the time taken by someone to solve a problem as that seems meaningless.

Well, I think it might be interesting to see how quick some users are. :)

Sometimes I look at and print out the problems when they come out at the beginning of each week and solve them throughout the week until I use the computer next, which may be days. I don't think it would be very useful information to people like me.

@ Tim V. This boy has superb ideas. You seem to be(though not really) the official advisor for Brilliant.
