Hi, I got a problem wrong and after a quick analysis I realized a rather stupid error in my work (writing 1500 as 5000) that would've otherwise guided me to the correct answer. I suggest that Brilliant allow the submission of solutions even after getting the problem wrong, perhaps even for a slight point cost. This allows people who have seen their mistake to help join in the solution discussion instead of hindering them from this discussion until the solutions are publicly displayed.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.
