This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Well, @Rajdeep Dhingra Can you please post some more projectile motion problems in your free time? I @Swapnil Das would be indebted! ( Just trying to see what happens when you mention yourself!)
Hello Sir, I want your help. I am very weak in geometry , so I wanted to take some advice from you about it. Please tell me what shall I do to improve it. Thanks.

@Nihar Mahajan Do you wanna become a Mathematician?
Log in to reply
No I wanna be an Engineer.
@Sravanth Chebrolu Hey bro! actually the answer to the second question asking for remainder is 46. It is given in my answer key and I solved it too.
Log in to reply
Can you ex plain that?
Log in to reply
The last expression comes as x^2 -13x + 32 = f(x)
Log in to reply
(x+1) the remainder is, f(−1):(−1)2−13(−1)+32=1+13+32=46
Understood! Dividing it byLog in to reply

Log in to reply
Oh! Yes. Sorry for leading you the wrong way.
The new function is actually, f(x):x2−13x+32! And that when divided by (x+1) leaves 46.

@Nishant Rai Hello Sir! I just wanted to make a humble request. The standard of the problems you post on Brilliant is really great. I just wanted you to post some kinematics problems on B'ant( without trigonometry, but of high standards). Please take my request into consideration, and please help aspiring physicists like me.
Log in to reply
@Swapnil Das Thanks! give me some time, i will surely post questions related to Kinematics.
Log in to reply
Thank you very much!

@Nishant Rai Hello again, Sir!
Can you please suggest me some reference books for Class 11 Physics?
Log in to reply
@Swapnil Das
Read NCERT first, as it will , to some extent, help you in your boards.
After that, do NCERT Exemplar. You can get the pdf's from here . It contain's some very good, high level questions.
If enrolled in some coaching institute, go through their material thoroughly ( Do not jump form one coaching material to some other, they all contain the same thing, except the way they are written).

@Swapnil Das
I forgot to mention Concepts of Physics Vol I and II - H. C. Verma. Do it to clear and test your conceptual understanding of the subject.
Log in to reply
@Swapnil Das After that, go for Problems in General Physics - I.E.Irodov

@Sravanth Chebrolu Hi! Can you please let me know how are you so good at logic? How can I improve?
Log in to reply
I think you must take suggestions from Nihar or Pi Han Goh sir or Calvin sir or Julian Poon sir etc. . .
They are lot better than me!
Remember the thoughts,
I think these two thinks did help me a lot! But, honestly, I don't think I am so good
Here are some tips to improve yourself:
I recommend you to play chess if you would like to improve at logic.(I personally love playing the game!)
You can practice questions on brilliant! That's the best way to improve yourself.
