How to Hard Mention Users on Brilliant
All you have to do is:
Place the ‘@‘ symbol before the person you are mentioning, then repeat the name with correct capitalisation in the right places. They will get a notification (if on desktop) and will come to wherever you mentioned them (if they want to).
Example: @Blank McBlank Blank McBlank
When you post the comment, it should look more or less like this:
@Blank McBlank Blank McBlank
I have had a lot of difficulties, so I simplified it for anybody who wants to know how to mention a user. If you wanted to know, replace the ‘Blank McBlank’ with the person who you’re mentioning.
If you read the comments, that is Jason Gomez teaching me how to mention others. If parts of the conversation are missing, it’s probably in the other note which we were switching the mentioning from (solution to Jason’s note to this note) Then Percy Jackson got involved. If you want to get confused, by all means read it. If you don’t, don’t.

Haha, very funny. If you must know, it wasn’t just me who gave Jason Gomez so many notifications. Although I’d like to think that I was responsible for all of those. Reyna isn’t in the movies. And I refuse to acknowledge those horrible movies. Watched one, didn’t want to ruin my life by watching the other. Take my advice. DON’T WATCH THEM.
They also put descriptions of the characters in the books (Annabeth obviously has blond hair, not that the movies bothered to get that right) so you could piece together what they look like. Personally, I don’t really like the official illustrations of Percy Jackson characters, I like viria’s from tumblr more.

I’m worried that I’m going to fail life based on one little mistake. I could fall down the stairs and break my leg and fall on someone else and kill them and go to prison for the rest of my life for manslaughter (or womanslaughter) I’ll then die surrounded by prisoners in jail.

Uhmm, first there is something like juvenile jail, second you don’t go into life imprisonment for killing someone by mistake (it’s only a name, in India life imprisonment last for 13 years, and so there are double life imprisonments also given), third if you break your leg, it will heal back, little weaker but within two years, there will be no difference at all

Hey guys...been a while. I don't know if you're even active anymore, or if you even remember me, because I haven't kept up for almost two months. I was just really busy and didn't have time for Brilliant. Firstly though, I'd like to apologize about the Mathathon, to you @Jason Gomez , because I left before it finished which I guess would've been a burden on you as you'd be the only active judge, and to you @Sarah Alam because you were a participant who was probably waiting for the results, but never got them. I'm really sorry. I let you down. I will give scores to all the solutions and finish the leader board as soon as possible, like within one or two weeks. I will probably still be a inactive, but I'll try to drop by every week or so. So...uh...yeah, that's about it. Hope you guys aren't too mad or something. I'll be awaiting your reply.

Actually I too had become inactive for a month or so, and came back to find that Tanya aka Agent T had settled everyone down, if you want you can complete the leaderboard (it does get boring correcting essentially similar answers) or you can leave it, both are fine, I think @Sarah Alam is inactive now.

That's not true. You can balance work and play if you get everything timed efficiently. I play 2 hours of video games everyday, code for 1 hour, and study the rest, except for eating and 30 mins of reading. I have fun, and I get my work done. You have to focus on what you're doing, when you're doing it. Thinking about math while playing video games won't let you enjoy them, and thinking about video games while studying won't get your studies done. Reading helps with focus, especially reading inspirational and life-lesson kinda books. Do that, and you'll be the smart, good kid who also has fun.
I don't know if you're joking or not. It'd be very embarrassing for me if you were joking and a gave a lot of life advice like an old man lol

No there are actually cameras everywhere. I have strict parents. I guess I should be grateful that they stopped slapping me when I spoke at the wrong time, or was caught in the wrong place. But that happens to everyone. Sneaking around is sort of a habit that is now a skill.
