Consider a system with three energy levels $\epsilon$ , $2\epsilon$ and $4\epsilon$ . Suppose the energy level with energy $\epsilon$ is non degenerate while the energy levels with energy $2\epsilon$ and $4\epsilon$ have degeneracies $2$ and $4$ respectively. If the system is in thermal equilibrium with a thermal reservoir, find the Helmholtz free energy of the system.
