This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Well I think it might be messed up now after someone got it wrong. The site probably makes a unique password for each computer so people wont get the same password each time and can't cheat. I am going to have to think of how to fix this now.

I just found a way to fix it. I instead asked the length of the password which is the same for each user. Is there any way you could update the answer to the question? I have already switched the wording. Could you please give me your brilliant address so I can send you the new answer, if you are able to switch it? Thanks.

Sent. Someone disputed the problem and did get a correct answer which I saw in the dispute e-mail. Could you please make it say that they got it correct? Sorry for the confusion.

Yep I just confirmed that the password changes from user to user. Could you please hide the question until I can think of how to fix this?

Not easily. You can just edit it to say not yet a complete problem.
