Why you wrote 2 and 2 add upto 3. I understood that 2 remain so you wrote it, but what about the other one

@Tushar Malik If you're asking about the question you commented on, them it is for you to find out how it is possible. If I write the answer, others won't be able to enjoy. If you still want the answer, mail me. But I think you've got mixed up.....I have posted 2 different puzzles, note that they're on different longitudes (or possible latitudes)...-o:

If there were 3 birds sitting on the branch of a tree, and a shooter shoots one of them, then how many remain? This question needs some serious voting........
Option C- All three.
All three because the shooter shoots 'one of them', not one of the birds.

Yes, the answer is 'all three' because you asked "how many remain", not "how many remain alive" or "how many remain dead". As the body(although dead) is there, this is the answer, I suppose.

@Satvik Golechha My answer would be '0' birds. When the hunter shoots one of them, the sound of the gun would scare the birds away. The killed bird would then fall down.

There can be some brave birds or the birds can be deaf(if there are birds who are deaf ;))

Option A- Only one.
Option B- Two remain.
Actually, the nine dots problem can be done in three lines
Log in to reply
Yes, it can. My teacher told me how.

Then, tell us how?
How?

But it can't be done in 3 lines without lifting off the pencil.
