this river has a sinister touch

It has a way sending me back to the fountainhead every time after I solve a problem. And here I am again, busy scrolling down for seconds on end. Wouldn't it be much more sensible for us to come back to the place in the queue/river so that we could continue on instead of wading the same river again and again? (One wonders what Heraclitus would say to that...)

Call it wishful thinking, but I'd also like to select the interesting problems and throw them into a to-do-list for today first, and then tackle them one by one. Is this a feature easy to add? The trouble with the current configuration is that problems of all range of ratings and interests are pouring out in a random array, and as I mentioned earlier, after I solve one, I come back to the very beginning of the queue...

Well, complaint makes perfect. So here it is. :)

Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Well, my first suggestion for you would be opening problems in a new tab of your browser. When you find a problem you'd like to solve, open it in a new tab. When you're done with it, close that tab. That way you won't have to wade through the same river again and again.

You could use the favorite option as a to-do-list. Favorite a problem you'd like to work on later and come back to work on it when you can. If you don't want to call that problem your favorite, unfavorite it after solving it.

We agree that "coming back to the same place in the queue" would be great, and will add that feature in when possible.

You can get a "to-do-list" by using the favorites feature. Click favorite on a problem, and it will automatically be added to your favorites list, which you can access on the left.
