It's been a long time since my last post, sorry for that. Today, I want to summarise all the ways to express a concentration of a solute in a solution.
Mass Percentage
\(\text{Mass Percentage }(\%)=\displaystyle \frac{\text{Mass of Solute}}{\text{Mass of Solution}}\)
Volume Percentage
Volume Percentage (%V/V)=Volume of SolutionVolume of Solute
Molality
Molality (molkg−1)=Mass of Solvent (kg)Amount of Solute (mol)
Amount-of-substance Concentration
Amount-of-substance Concentration (molL−1)=Volume of Solution (L)Amount of Solute (mol)
I just summarise the formulas, if you have something you don't understand, just comment below!
I will be posting many problems playing with these tools, stay tuned!

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.
