Tragedy of the Commons - Moar GT!

Tragedy of the commons is a common macroeconomic and/or environmental game. One example is how much grass a cow can eat in a community. There are limited units of grass and the cows want to eat. It is beneficial for you, as a cow, to eat as much as you can. But if too many cows eat too fast, the grass cannot replenish and everybody dies.

Question: Where is the Nash Equilibrium? Question: Do animals (except humans) study game theory? I know some animals have altruistic behaviors acquired evolutionary, but can somebody provide extra examples of strategic decisions? List as many examples as you can.
