Trick for memorising the first few digits of e

The first few digits of e is 2.7182818284590452353602874713527... but hey lets not go to the extreme.

After 2.7 there is 1828 that repeats twice so write 2.7 18281828

After the two 1828's there are the angles of an isosceles triangle 45 90 and 45.

Putting them all together we get 2.7 1828 1828 45 90 45*

*the spaces are intentional and for you to visualize better.
