When we open a user's profile, we see the "Kinds of problems XYZ has solved" and we see a question. I think there should be an option for others to try that problem. Some questions that weren't asked in our problem sets but asked in theirs may appear there and hungry minds may want to solve those questions too.
This suggestion is actually more important i guess. I feel the "Request Clarification or Dispute" option should me made more usable. When i click on that button, i see some options most of which when clicked doesn't help me in clarifying my doubt. One says "definitions features aren't built yet" or something similar. Another one when clicked, says "We'll try rephrasing the problem". But i don't think any of the options in the box asks us what our doubt/dispute actually is (Please correct me if i am wrong, and if i am, i apologise). I think there should be space to type what our doubt is and it should later be reviewed by the challenge masters who can clear our doubts maybe through email. I request you to try to implement that as it may help people solve the questions.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

Thanks Nishanth for the feature requests, I am going to respond with two comments so that people can discuss the requests seperately.

If the problem is not on the present week's problem set, being able to view the featured solution(s) (after we finish our 3 tries) is another suggestion from my side.
2) Options 1 and 3 are:
and
To clarify(he he) your request, are you asking for us to provide a box where you enter in what the term whose definition you do not know is, or state what part of the problem phrasing doesn't make sense?
The challenge master's do not have enough time to clarify everyones doubts individually. Those buttons merely help notify them if they have used a math term that is commonly unknown to people, or if they have written an unclear problem. Just because a problem's wording doesn't make sense to you, does not mean it isn't clearly written. When the challenge masters write unclear problems, many people will notice, and the challenge masters can change the wording of of commonly misunderstood problems during the week. Those buttons allow the challenge masters to not get bogged down in individual cases of misunderstanding and efficiently work to clarify the problems that are actually unclear.

Thank you. I understand.
I saw a text area this time! thank you!
You are right Nishanth. It's not that we want to prove Brilliant "wrong". It's just a humble request to clarify our doubts and seek some assistance for the problem. Probably Brilliant is receiving a lots of "Humble requests" so want to cut short them :D
Absolutely agree!!
2) If you click on the last option, 'You said my answer is wrong, but I want to explain why my answer is correct.', you can contact them through the site.
A dialog box will appear saying
'We welcome disputes if you can explain clearly why you think your answer is correct. It costs 100 points to submit a dispute to this problem, but we award up to 1000 points if you can prove that we're wrong! We will respond to youremail@example.com.'_

I have seen that. But my issue is not proving brilliant wrong. But I want my doubt clarified. I dont want to spend 100 points to get my doubt clarified! and for doubts, brilliant is not giving me 1000 points. Its only if i prove them wrong. But what i actually want is my doubt clarified.
