Having been on this website for a while, it becomes pretty clear that this community definitely includes plenty of members (some younger than me) who probably know at least rudimentary quantum mechanics, if not quantum field theory. I've seen requests posted to create a quantum mechanics topic, but I'm not aware that it is in the making. Is this currently being worked on? If it isn't, I think that it really should be done. I'd personally find it very helpful to drill Dirac notation problems or expand an energy eigen basis on here every now and again.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

@Cole Wyeth -- just so you know, we agree. It is going to take some time and some people helping to make it a reality -- but it will happen :)

great!
We have still not completed the Chemistry venture. Quantum Mechanics will take some time to come.
