Website Issues

I'm having technical issues with the website.

For example, when I click on the three dots in the lower-right corner of a problem, and then try to click on "View reports", nothing happens. Also, when I click on a solution, and then the link that says "show nn comments", nothing happens there either.

And the number of solvers for a problem does not appear.

I am having this problem in both Chrome and Firefox. Is anyone else experiencing this?

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Hi Jon -- I can't reproduce this issue. Are you still having it?

Eli Ross Staff - 3 years, 9 months ago

Thanks. We're aware of this and are looking into it.

I can reproduce this on Firefox, but not Chrome:

Can you confirm that it's currently an issue on Chrome?

Thanks. We've discovered that the issue only affects moderator accounts, but not other accounts. We are working on fixing this (but do not have a certain timeline as yet).
