Welcome to Brilliant!
As I'm sure you've noticed if you've looked around at all, Brilliant has hundreds of "wiki" pages to help members gain a deeper understanding of the ideas and techniques that are needed to solve problems on the site.
What you may not have realized: the vast majority of these pages were written primarily by our users, not by staff.
To help people find the pages that will be most helpful and need work, we've been hosting "weekend wiki parties" where we encourage the community to help build out our wiki. This week, we're inviting new members to contribute. If you've enjoyed Brilliant so far, you should jump in and become a contributing member! We've still got a lot of important ideas that haven't been well explained on the site yet.
The pages we'd encourage you to contribute to this week:
Don't worry too much about formatting. There's a guide here, but we'd be happy to help you clean up anything you have trouble with. Just leave a comment, introduce yourself, and let us know what you've added to.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

I just contributed to the Birthday Paradox page. It's not much. Maybe someone else would like to make it better.

Thanks!
I've added some material about factorial growth and a definition to factorial properties. This is my first time contributing on a wiki so feel free to make lots and lots of formatting changes :P

Dylan, thanks for your contribution. I'll look it over and make sure the formatting is right, but it looks like @Sravanth Chebrolu already added more content and cleaned things up quite a bit. Thanks to you both!
Sir, today when I opened the Factorial Properties page, I found that it didn't follow the formatting guidelines. Is something wrong?

The formatting on the page could be greatly improved. In the examples, avoid using color except when necessary to stress a particular point or change. Also, it has too many chapters and several of them should be combined.
We will work on improving the formatting of that page over time.

Thanks for informing sir! I'll try editing the page accordingly. In future when I write the wiki's I'll make it as a point. Also, would you mind looking into these pages; kinetic energy, specific heat and equilibrium?
I've edited the page somewhat, how is it now sir?
Hi, I'm new to Brilliant but I noticed that quantum mechanics isn't covered as one of the topics. QM is something I'm really interested in, so it would be great if Brilliant could start a community that dedicates itself to the learning of (albeit basic) quantum mechanics ;)

Welcome to the community Nicole.
There are numerous people who are interested in Quantum Mechanics. You can start a discussion by posting a note, explaining your interest in QM and see where that goes.
