What is going on?

Mr. Calvin Lin and other Brilliant Staff, I must say that I really respect you and hold you in high esteem for your hard work, especially on Brilliant. However, I recently noticed that most answers to recent multiple choice questions on this site are always on the first alternative. This makes problem solving on Brilliant a little boring and unexciting. I wish something would be done quickly to fix it. Thanks. Brilliant rocks!

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

Thanks a lot sir. You just proved the falsity of my last comment. However, you might like to read the angry comments of other users as regards the recent changes on this site!

EKENE FRANKLIN - 2 years, 9 months ago

Yeah that's true even I have noticed this.

I hope @Calvin Lin takes action.

Syed Hamza Khalid - 2 years, 9 months ago

Yes it is true because almost all of my problems have their answer the first.

It seems Mr Calvin Lin is temporarily inactive on this site. Approximately nothing has been noticeably done by him to rectify users complaints recently.
