What is the most beautiful constant in Physics and Mathematics?

This is not inspired from anywhere and this is fully original. This is made just because I want to know more about constants which are usually hard to remember. Share the constants which you think are very less known.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

When posting on Brilliant:

  • Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
  • Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
  • Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
  • Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

If you ask me about which is the most beautiful constant in Physics and Mathematics , I would say Pi ! Pi is one of the most important, useful and Beautiful constant there are . Even the mathematicians are not too sure about it's true components . Some say pi has infinite values , but some say not... both have been proved via mathematics and physics to be the truth. which makes it more interesting . there are still a lot of mysteries about pi yet to be unfold. Pi=3.141592653589793624332384683279....................................

@Kartik Sharma Oh! But still, its the most comfortable constant in maths...

Satvik Golechha - 6 years, 10 months ago

@Satvik Golechha yeah yeah 0 is the most comfortable constant but can you tell some of its applications(maybe I am missing something)

please can you re share it and also you Krishna? I want to make this as well as the "number" note famous..

By the way, what about the constant k whose value becomes 1 for no reason. Therefore, 1 is definitely my favorite.
