I am looking for suggestions for how to create diagrams that I can add to solutions. I see some very nice-looking diagrams people include in their responses but have no idea how they're made. Nothing fancy, just basic diagrams like ones used in geometry and trigonometry in Math, or dynamics and equilibrium in Physics. I need to be able to add measures and/or labels to sides and angles; colors would be nice but are not essential. An online tool would be best, but I'll definitely consider others as well. Thank you very much.

This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments should further the discussion of math and science.

It's great that you want to add an image to help others understand your problem.
Use whatever program you're used to (even Paint). When we select a problem to be featured, we will help convert it into a "nice-looking diagram".
The program that we use is Figma (I think they have a free version, but am not sure), and I sometimes use Omnigraffle (Mac, paid). For geometric diagrams, Desmos and Geogebra are worth a shot too.

Thanks, will give Geogebra a try.
Geogebra might be exactly what you're looking for.

Hi, Calvin! It's been a while. The latest 3blue1brown video sent me here.
Thanks, Mursalin, that's seems exactly like what I was looking for.
