Where does brilliant get its problems from?

Just for curiosity's sake, where exactly does brilliant get its math/physics problems from? Is it from past AMC/AIME/USAMO/IMO competitions, or do people sit down and create these problems from scratch?

Comments

Most of the problems are created by the Brilliant Challenge Masters and their team.

Recently, there have been some students that submitted original problems which they came up with. These problems, if used, will come along with the statement "This problem has been proposed by X", and provide a link to the profile. You are welcome to submit problems (with well written solutions) to Mathematics@brilliant.org.

I think they create some of them and others are the modified forms of questions of competetive olympiads,they use the same but with different values and making it something tricky they are good at transforming question!

At least some of them are written by their staff. They also say in their FAQ that you can submit problems for consideration, and if selected to appear in a Pset, would be given credit.

Many of the questions ask for the answer in the form that they would on the AIME.

Both of them, I think. Maybe, they just pick a little problems from google, and then they edit them.
