All of the signposts uproot. It turns out that they are locks to an underground experiment environment.

"The eternity's gate is right over yonder. Let's run to it before there is another challenge."

"If there are any cards on your hands, please divulge them to us now." - I shout to the ceiling, knowing that someone is regulating the tussock.

"There's none, I presume so."

"Do I look like a joke to you?"

"Yes, you do. You made me waste approximately one thousand six hundred words on a poem and three riddles that no one will read."

"I don't care. Anyway, there's your one hour thirty-six minutes to nothingness. Happy sweeping the mines!"

Suddenly, the floor is illuminated with checkerboard tiles and numbers.

"Well, we needn't explain the rules again. But there have to be additional rules.

"Stop the timer and speak fast. We are not here for your provocations."

"Fine, but why are you so worried?"

"You should have known by now, we need to go homewards. Why are you questioning?"

"The train literally left you. Why do you want to go home so desperately?"

"At the moments when dimensions collide, the place where you want to be is at the sanctuary."

"You could save Earth right now, or we could be lying to you. So don't leave!"

"Fine, what are the additional rules?"

"There is one group of four consecutive mines in a row or a column."

"Now, for the instructions."

"Let us finish these cinnamon rolls first. They're delicious."

"Can we have some? You can put them on the pedestals over there."

"Here you are. We welcome everyone to come to the bakery near my house. They make panoramic and aromatic pastries, bread and other desserts from scratch every day. And the desserts are made fresh."

I can hear them talking as if they are right above us.

"At least mankind make good food. So that's why you persevere for such a long time."

"That is not fundamentally one of the reasons why we survive for so long. Now, can we get to the instructions, please?"

"Solve the minesweeper with the extra clue. Then transcribe in every possible combination onto the wall in front of you."

"That's too much. Is it acceptable if we provide you with the number of possible combinations?"

"It's fine. But you only get three chances."

"Are those checkerboard-patterned tiles mines?"

"Yes, they already are."

"What if there aren't any?"

"There is a problem on the wall behind you."

"What is the minimum number of pieces needed to arrange them into two shapes shown on the wall of the same area?"

"How much time did it take for you to do all of this?"

"Do not ask that ever again."

"You should draw the solution onto the wall in front of you. We will give another one hour twenty-four minutes. Now, you know what to do."

"You are too kind to be a challenger, I must say."

To be continued. I know that posting literature on a website based around math and science is not worth it. But it is worth a try.
