This discussion board is a place to discuss our Daily Challenges and the math and science
related to those challenges. Explanations are more than just a solution — they should
explain the steps and thinking strategies that you used to obtain the solution. Comments
should further the discussion of math and science.
When posting on Brilliant:
Use the emojis to react to an explanation, whether you're congratulating a job well done , or just really confused .
Ask specific questions about the challenge or the steps in somebody's explanation. Well-posed questions can add a lot to the discussion, but posting "I don't understand!" doesn't help anyone.
Try to contribute something new to the discussion, whether it is an extension, generalization or other idea related to the challenge.
Stay on topic — we're all here to learn more about math and science, not to hear about your favorite get-rich-quick scheme or current world events.

So whole posts are deleted for a variety of reasons. Most commonly they are:
posting a live problem on a Brilliant problem set
being empty(as in vague title, no explanation body). This happens the most and is partially a product of you guy's not being able to edit your titles or delete a discussion once it is posted.
Much more rarely, they are deleted for being rude, trolly, or distastefully irrelevant. Most people on here have good intentions even when they make crappy discussions, so whole posts do not get deleted all that often. It varies but is generally just about 1 in 20-30 over the medium term.
Also lots of discussions get moved to either the "feature requests" or "support" tab. This is a segmentation process we do to move discussions that either pertain to a small number of people, or which are merely about Brilliant to places where the conversation can continue without crowding out new discussions of more general topics in the "main" tab.
Finally, almost all of the time that a comment is deleted, it is deleted by the author of the comment. We really only delete flagrantly rude comments, which are rare.
Posts like these are deleted too ( don't mind ).
I mean, if you follow the guidance , there are 90% probability it would not be deleted. So, try again later with interesting topics relevantly.

ya....
true , many good discussions are not properly placed, that is they are placed way back where users dont go and are finally deleted
